Tungsten-silver

Tungsten-silver [WAg]

Like tungsten-copper, tungsten-silver (WAg) is a tungsten-based composite material group with a tungsten content of 50 to 80 % (the rest is silver). The combination of the elements tungsten and silver results in unique properties for various industrial applications. These are the high hardness, high modulus of elasticity and high wear and erosion resistance of tungsten with the good electrical and thermal conductivity as well as the high corrosion resistance of silver.
