MoRe (Molybdenum-Rhenium)

[MoRe5, MoRe41]

MoRe alloys combine the Mo base with rhenium additives and significantly improve recrystallization temperature, ductility, machinability and weldability compared to pure molybdenum. Similar to WRe, MoRe wires are often used as thermocouple wires; the alloys are also suitable for filigree, high-temperature-resistant components. We supply standard compositions such as MoRe5 and MoRe41 in common shapes – details on compositions, availability and download information can be found below in the grade overview.
