MoW & MoRe
[MoW 50/50, 70/30 | MoRe 5, 41]
MoW and MoRe are molybdenum alloys for high-temperature applications. The addition of tungsten (MoW) significantly increases the recrystallization temperature, high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance - preferred fields of application include the zinc industry and stirring tools for glass production. With MoRe, rhenium additives increase the recrystallization temperature and above all the ductility, machinability and weldability; MoRe (similar to WRe) is often used as thermocouple wire.
