Hafnium for plasma cutting

[Zr < 0.2 % | Electrodes & nozzles for plasma cutting]
Hafnium is a shiny, silvery, corrosion-resistant refractory metal with a high melting point and excellent neutron absorption capacity. Hafnium with a zirconium content of < 0.2 % is used for plasma cutting - e.g. as electrode inserts and nozzle pins. The combination of temperature resistance, arc stability and low thermal conductivity ensures a long service life and precise cuts even under tough conditions. Our product range includes wires, rods/bars, plates, crystals and custom-fit finished parts according to drawings.
