Tungsten granulate

Tungsten granulate is a dense material with a low specific surface area - free of carbon and sulphur. It enables fast and reliable C/S analyses in the laboratory and is used as a raw material in powder metallurgy, as a mass balancer and for radiation shielding. We supply standardized grain size ranges and a high-density granulate; tungsten powder fractions up to 50 µm are also available. Properties

- Low specific surface area; low C+S material (standard: C+S < 7 ppm) - Sorted particle size ranges from 0.01-2.0 mm; powder up to 50 µm - (tap/bulk) density typ. 9.0-10.5 g/cm³ (standard) or 11.5-12.8 g/cm³ (high density) - High chemical purity (W 99.7-99.95 % depending on grade) - Packaging available from 1-5 kg (cans) to 20/50/100 kg (large containers)
