W-Heavy metals

Tungsten heavy metals are high-density materials based on tungsten that are characterized by very high strength and good toughness. Additives such as nickel, iron, copper and molybdenum create alloys with specific properties – such as magnetic (NiFe) or non-magnetic (NiCu). They are used wherever compact dimensions, reliable shielding and high mechanical strength are required. At MOLYTUN, these materials are known as DensM® (NiFe-bonded) and DensM® P (NiCu-bonded).
